Thinking I'm not so clever after all...

I'm a Salon subscriber. Anyway, on their site they have a blog I really like called "The War Room". Anyway, I noticed on their blog that they have an rss feed. I thought, great, maybe I can create a feed on lj and sub to it. Then I thought, but it is a pay service! They won't like that! But if that's so, why have an rss feed available, huh? HUH?

So, since I'm *such* a rebel, I figure I should see if I can do it and see if it gets yanked. I've seen several Get Fuzzy feeds yanked. Not the end of the world.

I go to the syndication page and "add feed". Oooh, what a rebel. The feed is added to my flist. I go to check out the info page on salon_war_room and notice it was created in FEBRUARY and has 12 watchers. (Insert the mocking sitcom music and laughing studio audience here.)

Uh yeah, I'm a dumbass. Oh btw, this is also a GIP. Made the icon yesterday.

On the upside, I found some cool feeds. Of note, theonionfeed and homestar_rss.

Note to callmefolie, didja know that savagelove is the feed for Dan Savage at The Stranger? I don't know if you're a fan of Savage, but The Stranger caught my eye.
