I forgot to mention in my earlier wedding post that they had Fat Tire Beer in a keg.  So, after hearing folks like loveanddarkness rave about it and even suggest if I was not a beer drinker that I might like THIS one, I had to give it a try.

I'll say this, it was the least offensive regular beer I've ever tried.  Nancy introduced me to fruit beer, which I did like.  So I can't say I don't like ANY beer.  But even Fat Tire hasn't convinced me that regular beer is anything to write home about.  Cliff said it was a rich-flavored beer, which was strange to me because what appealed to me was the fact it was the least strong flavored beer I've ever tried.  I know nada 'bout beer.

I was watching a special on Vikings on the Science Channel and one of the fun facts they talked about was how Vikings always drank beer on their travels because the water could not be trusted.  If I was in that boat (so to speak), and Kriek Beer was not an option, I'd choose Fat Tire.

Fat Tire fans may now pelt me with tomatoes for damning their beer of the gods with faint praise.
